Did you know that most walls, doors, and ceilings of cruise ship cabins are metal? They are! This gives you the perfect surfaces for using handy cruise magnets with hooks to organize your belongings in the tight space of a cruise ship cabin. We have a set and take them on every cruise.

- Pack your hooks in a checked bag rather than a carry-on due to their carrying weight. Also, in your checked bag there’s less likelihood that you’ll have credit cards or electronics nearby that could be damaged by proximity to the magnets.
What We Purchased and How We Used Them
A few years ago, we purchased the lightest-weight magnet hooks in the 27-pound range and have found them to work well for our needs. Personally, I wouldn’t use the 50-pound or 100-pound magnet hooks because I’d have a hard time removing them from the wall, and would worry about damaging it.
On our trips, we’ve used the cruise magnets to hold our daily schedule, a map of our itinerary, face masks (back when everyone was mandated to wear them), my small crossbody purse, and my CPAP’s hose and mask. In fact, one of the first things I do when we start unpacking in our cabin is to hang up our daily schedule that I create before the cruise.
