The dress code for Norwegian Cruise Line’s restaurants is less formal than many other cruise lines. Either casual or smart casual is required, depending on the restaurant. Norwegian defines casual and smart casual on its website.

There are six complimentary restaurants on Norwegian Breakaway:

• Garden Cafe – the buffet
• Manhattan Room – the largest main dining room
• Savor – a main dining room
• Taste – a main dining room
• O’Sheehan’s Bar & Grille – a 24/7 pub-style restaurant
• Shanghai’s Noodle House – an Asian noodle bar

Garden Cafe

The Garden Café is Norwegian Breakaway’s vibrant buffet restaurant. There, you’ll have the choice of a delectable selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The menu includes an exciting fusion of American classics and international delights, from sizzling Asian stir-fry to mouthwatering Italian pasta and zesty Mexican tacos.

Quench your thirst at the full bar, offering an array of refreshing beverages. Enjoy complimentary iced tea, milk, juices, and lemonade, while alcoholic drinks and sodas are available for purchase.

Every evening, indulge in an enticing rotation of themed cuisine, ensuring both new and familiar flavors to satisfy your cravings.

Manhattan Room

Experience the grandeur of the Manhattan Room, the ultimate dining destination among the three main dining rooms. Experience an enchanting evening filled with classic American cuisine, expertly crafted with a modern touch. Immerse yourself in the ambiance reminiscent of the glamorous supper clubs of the past.

With an array of delectable options including succulent steaks, irresistible seafood, and enticing vegetarian dishes, the Manhattan Room promises a delicious fine dining experience.

Note that all three main dining rooms share the same kitchen and the same menu. Each night, the menu varies slightly with a different focus.

Savor

Savor is the second of the three main dining rooms and shares the same menu as the Manhattan Room.

Taste is the third of the three main dining rooms, and shares the same menu as the Manhattan Room.

O’Sheehan’s is a casual pub-style restaurant. Its menu includes burgers, sandwiches, and salads, and bar snacks like pretzel bites, chicken wings, and nachos. The atmosphere is casual, a great place to grab a bite and have a beer with friends.

Shanghai’s

Shanghai’s offers traditional noodle house fare such as pot stickers and shrimp fried rice. It’s a small venue that fills quickly, so be prepared to wait.

When you dine at a specialty restaurant, you can pay à la carte or you can use your dining plan. With their Free at Sea program, Norwegian offers from one to three dinners at a specialty restaurant for free, depending on the length of your cruise. Depending on your Latitudes loyalty tier, you may also receive two extra specialty dinners.
