The Suite

Your Retreat stateroom will be spacious and luxurious, with eXhale® bedding, a king-size Cashmere™ mattress designed exclusively for Celebrity. In your closet, you’ll find robes and slippers, as well as binoculars and umbrellas you can use during your trip.

There is plenty of storage, and if you need more hangers, ask your stateroom attendant. Your stateroom will be tidied twice a day, once after you leave for breakfast and a second time for turndown service, when a piece of chocolate will be left on your pillow.

Your bathroom will be roomy and elegant, stocked with Bigelow lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Fresh towels will be supplied for you twice each day.

You will also have a makeup area complete with a magnifying mirror.

Butler and Stateroom Service

Your butler is your go-to person for anything involving food in your stateroom. They will be happy to stock your mini fridge the way you like it, or bring you canapes each afternoon. If you make a room-service order, your butler will be the person delivering it. They will even set it all out for you beautifully.

Is your bed uncomfortable? Need different pillows? Want more towels? Would like another blanket? Just ask your stateroom attendant.

If you need help with something, simply ask. Your team is there to help.

Concierge Service

When you are in the Retreat on Celebrity, you don’t need to go to Guest Services with a problem. Instead, check with your concierge team first. Whether you need to make a restaurant reservation or have a question about an upcoming port, they will be happy to help. And if you lose your keycard, they can assist with that as well.

A concierge is always available for you. Simply call them on the phone or find them in the Retreat Lounge.

The Retreat Lounge

The Retreat Lounge is a private place for Retreat guests to meet with a concierge, have a cocktail with friends before dinner, relax and read a book, stop by for an afternoon snack, or enjoy special entertainment some evenings. Depending on whether your ship is an Edge-class or if it has been revolutionized (updated), the lounge will be known as the Retreat Lounge or Michael’s Club.

Retreat Lounges have panoramic views and a patio, and provide afternoon bites in a buffet. Michael’s Clubs are intimate and cozy, and serve you afternoon tea at your seat.

On Edge-class or revolutionized ships, the Retreat Lounge will have fridges filled with sodas, bottled water, and other beverages that you can select from and take back to your cabin.

The Retreat Lounge is also a great place to simply find some peace and quiet, or to have a chat with a concierge or other staff.

Luminae at The Retreat

Luminae, the private restaurant for Retreat guests, is a five-star experience. Not only is the food spectacular, but you will have a staff catering to your every desire. Your maître d’, waiter, and sommelier are true professionals and will remember your preferences. If you have special dietary considerations, tell your waiter on the first night, and you will be consulted on how best to help you.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available, depending on the day. On port days, for example, lunch is not served.

No reservations are required. If you have a larger group, however, it might be smart to plan for those meals in advance.

The menu changes each night, and if you don’t see something you want, ask your waiter about the Classic Menu. Not listed on the printed menu, this separate array of choices is available every evening and includes classic fare like escargots and French onion soup for appetizers, New York strip steak or chicken for entrées, and apple pie a la mode or creme brûlée for dessert. The Retreat Sundeck

The Retreat Sundeck, available on Edge-class and revolutionized ships, is like a high-end resort with dedicated areas for dining, lounging, or conversation. Edge-class ships offer a small pool and hot tub, while revolutionized ships have only a hot tub. Edge-class ships also have a full bar on the Retreat Sundeck.

An attendant is available to provide towels, cocktails, or snacks.

The Retreat Bar

Depending on the ship, the Retreat Bar may be on the Retreat Sundeck, or it may be in the Retreat Lounge. Either way, the bartenders there will offer you premium beverage service.

Booking Benefits

When you book a suite in the Retreat, you will receive the Indulge package, which includes premium Wi-Fi and a premium beverage package.

Some special fares and MoveUp bids may not include the Indulge package. Always check to be sure when making your reservation or placing a bid.

Room Service Breakfast In Your Cabin

Another benefit of being a guest in The Retreat is complimentary room service. We have enjoyed breakfast in our cabin several times, especially when we have cruised past glaciers very early in the morning in Alaska.

Other Benefits

Guests in the Retreat on Celebrity are eligible for priority embarkation (which includes an enormous special lounge at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale), priority disembarkation, priority tendering, and reserved seating at shows on chic nights. You will also receive little in-suite extras such as plush bathrobes and slippers.

The Retreat on Celebrity is an experience like no other. If you are considering trying the Retreat, be warned—you will never go back to a regular cabin again.
